The Hitchhiker’s Guide Has it Right

Last year I discovered that there is true wisdom in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy:  always carry a towel when you travel.  We gave one to each of the kids on last year’s vacation, prompted by our sensory child being extremely sensitive to hot seats.  True to the Guide, the towels became blankets (hubby keeps a cool car), pillows, and seat protectors.

On this year’s vacation, filled with upset stomachs from lots of mountain driving, the towel became the washable place to toss the cookies.  So, while the Guide is humorous, dig deep for the wisdom contained within and travel happier!
